font size

French CMA-CGM, the world's third largest shipping company, opened a direct shipping line on Tuesday between North China's Tianjin city and West Africa.

Delmas Brazzaville, a 195.5 meter long and 30.6 meter wide freighter with a capacity of 2,262 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEU), set sail from Tianjin at 7:00 p.m., heading for Abidjan Port in Cote D'Ivoire.

Ten vessels will serve on the weekly route, which will take them to eight other ports: Pusan, Shanghai, Chiwan, Klang, Louis, Durban, Tema and Lagos.

Tianjin operates more than 100 shipping lines to Europe, Asia and North America.
