Germany's inflation sped up in November, with prices jumping 1.5 percent over the same month of 2005, said official figures released by the Federal Statistics Office on Wednesday.

But prices fell 0.1 percent compared with those in October, when the annual inflation rate was 1.1 percent, the office said.
