The gold price in Hong Kong went down 8 HK dollars to 5,810 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 628.11 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 0.87 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7645 HK dollars.
