The gold price in Hong Kong went down 1 HK dollar to 5,809 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 628.17 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7625 HK dollars.
