Indonesia's export is looked to grow 16 percent this year to nearly 100 billion U.S. dollars against the targeted rise of 12 percent, a government official said Friday.

"Based on the performance between January and October 2006, we have projected that export would grow by 16 percent in the year," Trade Minister Mari Elka Pangestu was quoted by leading news website Detikcom as saying.

"Full year export will reach almost 100 billion dollars. We are satisfied with that," she said during a visit to the southern Java town of Yogyakarta.

For 2007, export is set up to grow by 15 percent, she said.
