The gold price in Hong Kong went down 21 HK dollars to 5,788 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 625.57 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 2.59 dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7665 HK dollars.
