The gold price in Hong Kong rose 48 HK dollars to 5,761 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 622.62 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 5.2 dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.767 HK dollars.
