Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), held talks in Beijing Wednesday with To Huy Rua, director of Commission for Ideology and Culture of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam .
The two sides exchanged views on how to strengthen their communication in the ideological and theoretical construction.
Liu briefed the guests on the theoretical outcomes of the CPC on the core value system of socialism and building harmonious socialist culture.
During Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit in Vietnam this year, the two sides blueprinted a bright future of bilateral cooperation and good-neighborly relations, Liu said.
To Huy Rua said Vietnam attaches great importance to the CPC theoretical exploration and practical experience achieved in leading the nation's reform and opening-up.
He voiced his willingness to strengthen the exchanges with the CPC so as to learn from each other and jointly push forward the development of the socialist cause.
