India to launch special train to Buddhist holy centres

India is to launch the first- ever special train connecting Buddhist pilgrimage holy centers in India and Nepal, according to the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation Saturday.

The holy places include Gaya, Agra, Varanasi in India and Lumbini in Nepal.

The special train that is to be launched from Chennai, a city in southern India on Jan. 12, will stop at all 12 Buddhist holy places within 15 days.
