Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- Dec. 27

The gold price in Hong Kong rose 47 HK dollars to 5,787 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 625.19 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 4.92 dollars at Wendesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.770 HK dollars.
