The gold price in Hong Kong rose 28 HK dollars to 5,815 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 628.62 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 3.43 dollars at Thursday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.765 HK dollars.
