Li Yilin, a former Chinese economic official, has died at the age of 92.
A government obituary said Li died on Dec. 18 in Beijing.
President Hu Jintao and other senior state and Party officials expressed their condolences to Li's family.
Born in Xinle County, in the northern Hebei Province, Li joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1938. He participated in the revolutionary work of the country's northern regions before the founding of the People's Republic of China.
After 1949, Li devoted himself to economic work and later became vice-minister of the chemical industry. He was a deputy to the third National People's Congress.
Li retired in 1992.
