font size

Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso will pay an official visit to Romania from Jan. 9 to 10, the Japanese Embassy in Bucharest said on Friday.

Aso will meet his Romanian counterpart Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu on Jan. 10 to discuss the consolidated partnership between the two countries after Romania's entry to European Union and to exchange views on the international situation.

"It is my great pleasure to pay a visit to Romania with a view to further strengthening the relationship between our two countries, once Romania joined the European Union," Aso said, local daily Nine O'Clock reported.
