The euro-zone industrial producer prices remained the same with the previous month in November 2006, the Eurostat, the European Union (EU)'s statistics office, said on Friday.
Compared to the same period of 2005, the industrial producer price index rose by 4.3 percent in the bloc sharing the same currency.
On monthly basis, prices in total industry excluding the energy sector increased by 0.1 percent, while prices in energy sector fell by 0.3 percent. Both intermediate goods and capital goods gained 0.1 percent. Durable consumer goods remained unchanged, while non-durable consumer goods fell by 0.1 percent.
Year on year, prices in the energy sector rose by 6.9 percent, and in other sectors as a whole increased by 3.5 percent.
For the EU, industrial producer prices in November gained 0.2 percent over the previous month, while the annual increase rate was 3.7 percent.
