China Great Wall Society promotes external exchanges

The China Great Wall Society has organized a series of events over the past year to promote the international image of China's world-famous landmark.

"With extensive international exchanges, more and more people in the world can get to know the Great Wall better," said Han Guowei, director of the Great Wall Society.

The events include seminars about the Great Wall and other items of cultural heritage in China and visits by world heritage delegations to some foreign countries.

"We want the Great Wall to stretch right around the world in people's imagination, joining people everywhere," Han said.
