Cold wave toll hits 39 in Nepal

12 more people died on Friday due to the cold wave in terai region of Nepal, local newspaper The Kathmandu Post reported on Saturday.

The death toll due to various cold-related diseases has been climbing as the cold wave continued to grip the southern belt of Nepal since the onset of this winter. So far, a total of 39 persons have been reported to die due to cold in this winter.
