The gold price in Hong Kong fell 146 HK dollars to 5,635 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 607.67 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 16.03 U.S. cents at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7840 HK dollars.
