A fisherman in Pangkep, Indonesia's South Sulawesi province, on Saturday found a fragment of an airplane's wing and other objects possibly linked to the missing Adam Air jetliner in his crab catching gear at sea.

The wing fragment was 1.5 meters long and 40 centimeters wide and bore the numbers 10-667238800-23MS1-57D, Antara news agency quoted information from a Marine Corps command post in Pangkep as saying.

Muntaha (35), the fisherman, also found an orange life vest that had the words "Charly" and the date "January 1, 2000" printed on it. He also retrieved a black rubber slab, five centimeters thick and five meters long.

He found all the items in his net while fishing in the Strait of Makassar, about 10 miles from the coast of Tamangapa or around 23 miles from where Bakrie, a villager of Barru district, found part of an aircraft's tail.

The command post in Barru meanwhile reported that the search and rescue team had again discovered other plane fragments such as a fiber plate, the frame of a plane's window and two life vests.

The Adam Air plane with 102 people on board was missing on January 1 on its way from Surabay, capital of East Java province to Manado, capital of North Sulawesi province. Some objects of plane have been found two days ago but the real location of plane has not found till now.
