Nepali speaker meets Chinese delegation

Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) of Nepal Subash Chandra Nemwang on Sunday met with a Chinese delegation on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.

The 20-member Chinese delegation is led by Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Li Tieying.

During the meeting, Speaker Nemwang assured the Chinese delegation of Nepal's adherence to the one China policy. And the Chinese delegation spoke highly of Nepal's support to China's policies on Tibet, Taiwan and human rights.

The delegation arrived here on Saturday for a four-day visit to Nepal. It is scheduled to meet with Nepali Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala on Monday.
