The gold price in Hong Kong dropped 66 HK dollars to 5,797 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 624.66 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 7.11 U.S. cents at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7900 HK dollars.
