An activist of Janatantric Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), a fraction splintered away from Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) (formerly known as guerilla) which is responsible in organizing recent strikes in Terai region of Nepal was killed when the gun he was carrying went off accidentally on Friday.
According to military commissar of the JTMM Arjun Yadav, 25- year-old Manoj Pandit of Rautahat district was returning home after killing a person abducted for spying against the JTMM when the automatic gun went off suddenly, killing him on the spot.
