Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe sent a letter to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, conveying important messages on bilateral relations.

The letter was conveyed to Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan during his meeting in Beijing Monday with by Nikai Toshihiro, a lawmaker from the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), who is visiting China.

The meeting is still going on by press time.
