font size

A delegation of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, arrived here Monday to start a four-day official goodwill visit to Myanmar.

The delegation, led by Li Tieying, Vice-Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, will proceed to Nay Pyi Taw, the new administrative capital, where the delegation will meet First Secretary of the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC) Lieutenant-General Thein Sein later on the day.

Myanmar is the final leg of the Chinese NPC delegation's three-Asian-nation tour which had taken them to Nepal and Cambodia.
