The gold price in Hong Kong went up 59 HK dollars to 5,950 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 640.77 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 6.27 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7945 HK dollars.
