Chinese military delegation leaves for visit to ROK, U.S.

A high-powered Chinese military delegation left Beijing on Wednesday for a visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the United States, said sources with the Ministry of National Defense.

The delegation is headed by Ge Zhenfeng, deputy chief of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army (PLA). They are invited by the armed forces of the two countries.

The delegation also includes PLA generals from the Shenyang Military Area Command, the Navy's North Sea Fleet and the academy of military sciences.
