The gold price in Hong Kong went down 20 HK dollars to 5,982 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 634.00 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 12 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.8010 HK dollars.
