The jobless rate of Denmark fell again in December and is now at its lowest point since 1974, said reports from Copenhagen on Friday.
The number of people seeking work declined by 0.1 from November to December, leaving unemployment at a meagre 3.9 percent. In the past twelve months, unemployment has fallen 25 percent, according to figures released by Statistics Denmark.
An additional 2300 people joined the workforce last month, reducing the total number of job seekers to 107,300.
Measured in terms of full-time unemployed, the total number jobless fell 1.2 percent points year-on-year, and now stands at 3. 7 percent, according to the report.
