A traffic sign reading "Che Rang Ren" (please make way for pedestrians) was unveiled on Ti Yuchang Road, a two-way road in Hangzhou, the capital of east China's Zhejiang province on January 31, 2007.The sign was written in cold spray lacquer before a zebra crossing. The size of each Chinese character is 0.8 meters by 1.5 meters, making them clearly visible from 30 to 40 meters away.

National Museum of China closes for refit

CRH train to operate on Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway
A CRH (China Railway High-speed) train had its trial run on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, Jan 31, 2007. Six groups of CRH trains, running at 160 kmp, will be put into operation on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway as from Feb 1, according to the Ministry of Railway.
