China urges repatriation of suspected terrorists
font size

China wants the United States to repatriate the suspected Chinese terrorists being held at Guantanamo Bay as soon as possible, said a foreign ministry spokesperson.

The spokesperson, Jiang Yu, told a regular press conference here Tuesday that the United States should consider Sino-U.S. relations, follow international laws and regulations and send the terrorists back.

She stressed the "East Turkistan" terrorists in western China are also a part of international terrorist forces.

The international community including China should work in harmony to fight terrorism which is an enemy common to all, Jiang said.
