Passenger air route links China's Tianjin with Nagoya of Japan
font size

A passenger air route between north China's Tianjin and Nagoya in Japan, operated by Air China Tianjin Branch and the All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd, resumed on Thursday after nearly four years of interruption.

Boeing 737-700 jets will make seven return flights every week, with each flight capable of carrying 136 passengers and taking about three hours.

An NH113 flight takes off from Nagoya at 10:55 a.m. and arrives in Tianjin at 1:30 p.m. An NH114 flight takes off from Tianjin at 2:25 p.m. and arrives at Nagoya at 6:00 p.m.

The passenger air route was first opened in May 1998 with two return flights a week. It changed to a cargo transport route in April 2003 due to the small number of passengers.

The passenger air route was resumed because of the rapid economic growth in Tianjin and increasing passenger air traffic, according to the All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd.
