Two people were killed when an apartment building collapsed in southeastern Turkey Sunday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Monday.
One of the two bodies, identified as 18-year-old Mesut Demir, was recovered early Monday morning from the rubble of the building which collapsed in southeastern city of Diyarbakir, the report said.
The other one which was identified as 17-year-old Hasan Demir was pulled out on Sunday, Anatolia said.
Meanwhile, local authorities were quoted as saying that search and rescue efforts are underway as they think that there may be some more people under the debris of the building, constructed in 1993.
