Macao hosts Int'l conference on "One country, two systems"

The International Conference on "One country, two systems" and Three Legal Orders was launched here at the World Trade Center Monday.

The project, co-operated by the European Union and Macao, grouped law professionals from Australia, Canada, Cape Verde, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Chinese mainland, China's Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.

During the three-day meeting, sessions are to be held relating to the interaction among various judicial systems, role of public prosecution, autonomy and judicial guarantees of fundamental rights.
