Crude oil prices ended little changed on Thursday as weather forecast said the U.S. Northeast is to meet above-normal temperatures next week.
The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said it expects above-normal temperatures next week to end a spate of freezing weather in the Northeast.
Light, sweet crude for March delivery lost a cent to 57.99 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude at London's ICE Futures exchange rose 17 cents to 57.60 dollars a barrel.
Crude prices declined more than one dollars a barrel on Wednesday as the U.S. inventories last week declined less than expected.
