    Chinese New Year Celebrated in New York

    New York's Empire State Building is lit up with colorful lights on Thursday, February 15, 2007. The tallest building in New York has been decorated with 1,327 colorful lights since Thursday celebrating the Chinese lunar New Year. First celebrating in 2001, the skyscraper will be lit up for 3 days this year.

The huge hot pot measures 12 meters (39 feet) in diameter, and 4 meters (13 feet) in total height. The maker of the pot has applied for a World Guinness Record as the world's largest hot pot.
