Macao chief vows to enhance administrative level

Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), said on Saturday that his government is to upgrade the administrative level to meet the new challenges.

Ho in his Chinese Lunar New Year speech expressed his best wishes to the Macao people and hailed them for their "sense of responsibility."

The chief executive pledged to enlarge the social welfare resources and to make the benefit which is produced by the economic boom be shared fairly by all citizens.
