Pakistan, India agreement to minimise accidental nuclear threat

Pakistan and India will take another important step toward confidence building when they sign an agreement to minimize accidental threat from nuclear weapons Wednesday.

The agreement is expected to be signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries, according to a report by the official PTV on Sunday.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri will go to New Delhi Tuesday and will attend a meeting of the Pakistan-India Joint Commission.

In their meeting, Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Kasuri will talk about the bilateral relations and progress toward resolving the outstanding issues between the two countries.
