Dollar rises to lower 120 yen in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar rose to the lower 120 yen level from the upper 119 yen range late Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 120.43-46 yen, compared with Tuesday's 5 p.m. quotes of 119.98-120.08 yen in New York and 119.94-96 yen in Tokyo.

It moved between 119.71 yen and 120.55 yen in the day, trading most frequently at 120.25 yen.

The euro traded at 1.3154-3157 dollars and 158.44-48 yen, against Tuesday's 5 p.m. quotes of 1.3132-3142 dollars and 157.66- 76 yen in New York and 1.3159-3161 dollars and 157.83-87 yen in Tokyo.
