Polish GDP growth to exceed 6 percent
font size

Poland's GDP is expected to grow more than 6 percent this year, Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Zyta Gilowska said Thursday.

It seems that the economic growth might be even faster, Gilowska said in an interview with the Polish media.

The GDP is likely to grow faster thanks to fast growing investments, he said.

According to data released by the Polish Central Statistical Office, Poland's GDP grew 5.8 percent in 2006 as against 3.5 percent in 2005.
