At least two people were killed and one other was injured in a bomb blast in eastern Pakistani town of Chichawatni early on Saturday, the private Geo Television reported.
Chichawatni is some 195 km southwest of Lahore, the capital of Punjab province.
It is feared to be a suicide attack as a local senior police official was quoted as saying that the two suicide bombers, who were going on a bicycle to attack somewhere, were torn to pieces as the explosive devices went off before reaching their target, according to the report.
The injured person has been identified and shifted to a local hospital.
Authorities have directed an investigation into the incident, and a mobile device of a suicide attacker reportedly has been found from the spot.
Pakistan is in a grip of security alert as a series of bombing attacks have killed over 35 people since this January across the country, including the capital Islamabad, northwest city Peshawar, and southwest city Quetta.
