Bus crash in central Thailand injures 20

A bus overturned after hitting a bridge in Thailand's central province Phetchaburi early Saturday morning, injuring some 20 passengers, media reported.

The accident occurred in Phetchaburi's Ban Lad district at 5:30 a.m. (2230GMT) when the air-conditioned bus was traveling from southern city Hat Yai in Songkhla province to the capital Bangkok, according to the report on news network the Nation.

The bus belongs to a state-firm Transport Co. The injured were rushed to a local hospital, the report said.
