Egyptian security authorities Saturday captured two Nigerians trying to cross into Israel through the Rafah crossing in the Sinai Peninsula, MENA news agency reported.
During investigations, the two Nigerians admitted that they agreed with several local Bedouins on helping them to sneak into Israel through a border checkpoint in return for a certain sum of money.
The two said they were seeking to travel to Israel to look for a job.
Smugglers often use the Egyptian-Israeli border in Sinai and cross into Israel for job opportunities.
