At least 30 people were killed and more than 60 others wounded when a truck went off near a Sunni mosque in the western Iraqi town of Habbaniyah on Saturday, local police said.

The attack took place at about 3:30 p.m. (1230 GMT) near a Sunni mosque in a market in the town of Habbaniyah, 80 km west of Baghdad, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

The blast hit dozens of worshippers who were leaving the mosque after prayer services, he said.
