font size

Singapore and Canada have concluded their seventh round of negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on Friday.

According to a statement by Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry, good progress was made in the trade in goods, trade in services, investment, institutional provisions and dispute settlement chapters.

The statement said both sides will continue to work on making further progress on the remaining outstanding issues, but did not show clearly the date to hold the next round of talks.

So far, Singapore has signed more than 10 of such deals with partners like the United States, the European Free Trade Association, Japan, India, and Chile.
