Thai to study feasibility for building nuclear power plantThe National Energy Policy Council of Thailand has decided to form a committee to conduct the feasibility study for building a nuclear power plant in Thailand. Korb Krittayakeeron, senior advisor of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), will chair the committee, the Energy Minister Piyasvasti Amaranand was quoted by Thai news group The Nation as saying on Friday. The committee will study if it is viable to construct a nuclear power plant in Thailand and prepare all legal measures to accommodate the construction, the minister said.
