Dollar falls to lower 115 yen in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar dropped more than 1 yen Monday in Tokyo, ending at the lower 115 yen level.

At 5:00 p.m., the dollar traded at 115.31-34 yen, down from Friday's 5 p.m. quotes of 116.74-84 yen in New York and 117.63-66 yen in Tokyo.

It moved between 115.19 yen and 116.78 yen during the day, changing hands most frequently at 115.60 yen.

The euro also fell against the yen. At 5:00 p.m., the euro traded at 1.3140-3143 dollars and 151.55-59 yen, compared with Friday's 5:00 p.m. quotes of 1.3187-3197 dollars and 154.08-18 yen in New York and 1.3176-3179 dollars and 155.02-06 yen in Tokyo.
