font size

Liao Xilong, director of the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), met here Monday with Ludovico Franco, deputy chief of staff of the Philippine armed forces.

Liao, also a member of the Central Military Commission, briefed the guest on China's defense policy and on the PLA's logistics reform.

Both sides said they hoped to strengthen logistics exchanges between the two armies.

Franco arrived in Beijing on Sunday to start his China visit at the invitation of the PLA General Logistics Department.
