Moroccan King Mohammed VI on Tuesday received here Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zappatero who is visiting the country on the occasion of the eighth bilateral high-level meeting.

During the meeting, they hailed the significant development of relations between the two countries in different sectors of their cooperation.

They reiterated their commitment to deepen bilateral relations under the framework of the strategic partnership in the fields of political dialogue, economic cooperation, human and social development.

They also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of common interest and affirmed the two countries' firm commitment to peace, security and progress in the whole region.
