The Communist Party of Nepal ( Maoist) (CPN-M) Chairman Prachanda has noted that there would be no option for the party to start agitation if the interim government was not formed by the end of this month and announced the date for elections to the Constituent Assembly (CA), the National News Agency, RSS reported on Sunday.
Speaking at a press conference in Kaski in western Nepal Saturday, Prachanda said that the agitation would be a peaceful one.
Stating that various conspiracies were being hatched to foil the CA elections, Prachanda warned the possibility of constitutional crisis if the CA elections failed to take place by mid-June.
He also expressed the view that in case of failure to hold the CA elections by mid-June, the date for CA elections should be decided after declaring the republic.
