The gold price in Hong Kong went down 24 HK dollars to 6,038 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to the Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 649.17 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 2.58 U.S. dollars at Tuesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.8075 HK dollars.
