A research center aimed at strengthening economic ties between China and Sweden was set up at the Stockholm Business School on Wednesday.
The Center for Research on the Chinese Economy will be run by Swedish telecommunications giant Ericsson and the Stockholm Business School and will work closely with Beijing University.
The center will hold seminars that aim to help Sweden's business community better understand China's economic development and its influence on the global economy.
At present, China is Sweden's biggest trading partner in Asia, and some 400 Swedish firms have presence in China.
